It's been {9} months aLrEaDy?!?!?

My baby boy is 9 months. With 4 teeth and a laugh that will melt your heart, he is such a fun little boy. He loves giving { open mouth} kisses and he loves being hugged. He can't hide his excitement, either. He just starts kicking his legs and waving his hands. His brothers can get him to laugh more than his own mommy... which I love! ;)

This picture says it ALL!

I love you, Austin! 9 months has gone by so fast. I've loved every moment!

{almost} summertime!

The boys have 3.5 days left of school. I think I'm counting down the days as much as they are! No more helping with homework, packing lunches and laying out clothes...;)
We played hookie and skipped the soccer games this week. It's been 5 weeks straight. The boys needed a break. Two more weeks left of practices and games.
We've been wanting to try out the pool at the rec center for a while and decided to finally go. I know we'll be there a lot this summer so we got resident cards, too. That came with a free day to swim- yay! The pool was nice and it wasn't busy at all- until we left. We picked the right time to go!
It was Austin's first time swimming. He didn't like it at all at first. I really felt bad for keeping him in. But after about 10 minutes, he calmed down and really enjoyed the water (Good thing 'cause I spent $10 on Little Swimmers diapers). I dunked him completely under the water twice and he didn't mind at all! I got some really cute pictures of his first swim...
P and B went down the slide more times than I could count. Peyton was diving to get his toys and Brendan was content just kicking around the pool.
The showering off afterwards was interesting... Austin did NOT like that part. ;)
We watched Avatar {finally, I know} and we all liked it. {well, a few of us had to watch the ending this morning because we fell asleep...not because it was boring but because it was a long movie and we didn't start it until 8:15PM}

{Mother's Day}

Today wasn't much different than any other Sunday at our house....except for the handmade gifts that the boys couldn't wait to give me this morning. They were so excited. They know how much I love to get gifts that they make. This year was NO different! Brendan made me a card with his handprints and a flower pot with a paper flower with his picture in the middle. Peyton made me a card and 3 magnets for the fridge. I love that their teachers set aside time to do this for the moms. It is awesome!

We also made a stepping stone for the planter outside. I just did the mixing- the boys did the decorating. It turned out great- minus the little crack in Brendan's handprint (not sure how that happened!).

Kyle took us out to dinner at Rock Bottom after he got off work. After a 12 hr. shift, I really wasn't expecting to go anywhere. He is usually really tired when he gets home. It was a nice dinner and I'm really happy we went. Good food and no clean-up! ;)

The day was great- I even enjoyed watching the two Scooby Doo movies Brendan insisted on this morning. I just wanted to spend some extra time on the couch....I was still tired from yesterday. ;) I do like the cuddle time, though.

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. Thank you Kyle, Peyton, Brendan and Austin for making today special! I love y'all very much!
Mom, I hope you had a good Mother's Day, too! Sorry I couldn't see you today, but we will be there soon! I love you!

{Spring} SOCCER

I am so glad the boys are having fun because I am worn out! 3 games left...
I took a few pictures of the games today- both boys did great. Peyton almost scored a goal last Saturday and helped block a few shots today on defense. Brendan stopped a few shots today, too, playing goalie. He has been asking the coach to play goalie for a while and finally had his turn today. He did awesome! Austin did great today, too. He wasn't nearly as difficult as he was last Saturday. It was a nice day and he was happy playing with toys on our blanket {plus, he had a nap between games}.
